We continue releasing new templates in our line of Nova themes for classifieds, after General, Auto and Realty Nova templates, time has come to present to you the Boats Nova template for Flynax classifieds script. You will notice that the Boats Nova is similar to Auto Nova; however, it has its own background image in the header and color scheme specifically suited to Boats and Yachts classifieds.
Header
Just like in all our Nova templates, our goal is not simply to design a nice-looking header but make it functional and useful for a user. Our Boats Nova header features a search form that spans from left to right allowing a user to filter through boats by category, price, condition and other options right from the header. For those who wish to use a refined search, there’s a special “advanced search” button for this at the bottom right of the header. Upon click, the user navigates to a separate page where he may search for boats using a refined search option.
Main content area
Just below the header, a user will see two boxes featuring boat categories and popular brands. After it comes the main content area with ads positioned in rows of five on widescreen monitors and fewer ads in rows on smaller screens. The main content area is entirely dedicated to the ads with no other boxes, filters and plugins. The “load more” button at the bottom will allow a user to see the next batch of ads on your website.
Listing details page
We mirrored this page on all of the Nova templates. The first thing a user sees when he lands on an ads details is a gallery with photos of a viewed listing. The main image is on the right while the remaining ones are positioned on the left as thumbnails. The listing details page is the perfect area where you can place boxes, carousels and other useful functionality offered by the plugins.
Other improvements:
- Functional footer with links and a subscribe form;
- New width of 1440px to cater to widescreen displays;
- Fully responsive and looks great on both wide and small mobile screens;
- Banner area under the header;
- The Auto Nova offers better navigation and enhanced UI/UX
