Header
Header
The top of the Pets Nova theme offers space for your logo and navigation menu links, which you may add right from admin panel. On the right, after the navigation menu, we placed a “post an ad” link allowing a user to quickly proceed to adding a listing.
The middle of the header mirrors the functionality of all our Nova templates with a search form and some filtering options, which allow a user to initiate a search on your website right from the header. There is also an advanced search button for users who wish to fine-tune the search and make it more specific. A beautiful background image is placed under the header and takes the full screen width spanning from left to right.
The area under the header
If you’ve seen our Flatty and Wide line of templates, you may have noticed that those themes feature a banner on top of the header. In contrast to this, all of Nova templates offer a banner area right under the header where you may place a third-party banner or use Google ads. Just below the banner, we have placed a “browse by breed” where you may showcase the available categories on your website. A user may click on any category links and navigate to the page containing only ads from this category.
Content Area
The main content area is entirely dedicated to ads which are placed in rows of 5 on wide screen monitors. As the template is fully responsive, the number of ads in rows decrease based on the screen size, which allows even iPhone 4 users to browse your website with no difficulty as all of the elements scale perfectly to every screen, big, medium or small. The content area is free from functionality from plugins, filters or other features so that the user is not distracted and all of his attention may be devoted to ads on your website.
Remaining functionality
The remaining functionality presents itself once a user navigates to a particular listing. He may view a gallery of images, contact the seller, add listing to favorites or to a comparison table, view similar ads or use any other functionality that you decide to activate on your website.
Right at the bottom, we have placed a footer where you may add helpful links to help users navigate to other pages of your website or to mobile apps, if your website offers them. There is also a newsletter signup box for users to subscribe to newsletters from your site.
