Meet the new template, Auto Nova, which is now part of Flynax premium themes for classifieds. Auto Nova continues our commitment to add more templates for Flynax script. If you saw our General Nova template, which was released just a month ago, you will notice that the new theme follows its concept with emphasis on best practices in design. Let us take a look at the Auto Nova theme for auto classifieds and see how it can add a value to your cars marketplace.
Functional header
Many will agree that the header is one of the most important elements in any template. When working on a header, we didn’t just want to make it nice-looking and fancy, more importantly, we wanted to make it functional with most of the control elements in it.
The header has everything a user needs to find a car matching his preferences. He may specify the condition, make, model, transmission and a host of other parameters right within the header without the need to navigate to the search page or any other plugin boxes. Most of the functionality with advanced filtering options is located in the header; however, you will see that there is an “advanced search” button in the header as well that will take a user to a stand-alone page with extended search and filtering options.
Ads on the home page
With most required functionality located in the header, we have freed the space for listings and the content area on the home page is free from filters, boxes and other elements that would somehow obstruct the content area on the home page. The Auto Nova template shows a user a grid of listings with the ability to load more at the bottom.
Listing details page
When a user lands on an ads details page, his attention is captured by a picture gallery of the viewed listing. The main image is placed right in the middle whereas others are positioned on the left as thumbnails allowing a user to switch between ad photos easily.
Other improvements
We have enhanced the Auto Nova template in several other ways:
- New width of 1440px to cater to wide screen displays;
- Fully responsive and looks great on both wide and small mobile screens;
- Banner area under the header;
- Boxes “browse by body style” and “by make/model” redesigned;
- Body-style icons were redesigned based on vector graphics;
- The Auto Nova offers better navigation and enhanced UI/UX.
