As part of the development of a new version of the classifieds software, we have integrated another machine translation service – Deepl. Deepl is an alternative to Google Translate, which is already available in our system. We decided to integrate Deepl after receiving numerous requests from our customers, who believe that Deepl is more accurate in translation.
What machine translation services do we offer?
With the release of the new version, we’ll offer two automatic translators to choose from: Google Translate and Deepl.
Now you can choose which translator the system will use to translate phrases when you create a new language in the system. We have also added a feature to automatically translate data from text fields in listings and user accounts.
How to enable Deepl?
To activate DeepL on the site, you’ll need to sign up on the site and get an API key. After that, select DeepL API from the admin panel and enter the key you received.
Which version of Deepl have we integrated?
We have integrated the free version of the DeepL API, which provides the ability to translate up to 500,000 characters per month for free. This is not a small amount, it can be enough to translate from one language to another.
Who can access the Deepl translation service?
Unfortunately, Deepl is not available in all countries. You can check if Deepl is available in your country here.
